About

Learn the workbefore changing it.

Blackbridge is a small practice built on one idea: understand how the work really gets done before trying to change it.

A builder-operator by instinct.

Bart Mierzejewski started his career at Morgan Stanley and EY, and has since worked in operating roles at financial services and technology companies.

The work usually looks the same: join the team, learn how things really run, then help restructure the processes and systems so they work better.

Outside client work, he runs a few small software businesses, which keeps him close to the day-to-day reality of running a company. He holds an MBA from NYU Stern.

Clear thinking. Close to the work.

01

Do the work

Start inside the team, doing the job alongside the people who own it.

02

Learn the work

Find out how things really run: where the time goes, where it breaks, and why.

03

Restructure

Redesign the processes, systems, and roles around what the work actually needs.

04

Hand it off

Leave behind a team and a system that keep running after I step away.

“Change holds when it’s built with the people who do the work.”

You work with me directly, from the first conversation to the handoff.

An independent perspective

Bring the difficult question.
